This urban palace was built by Francesc Mestres (Master of Works of the Cathedral of Barcelona) as the residence of the Moxó family, prominent representatives of the local aristocracy, and it's one of the most beautiful examples of 18th century civil baroque architecture preserved to this day in Barcelona.
Located on the Palau' upper floors -including the attics where the Moxó family's service staff rooms were once located-, suites have been designed to enhance the valuable original architectural details while offering maximum comfort for stays in the purest Mercer style.
